Happy Halloween
It is Halloween night and you head out to trick-or-treat. As you approach this house that looks haunted you see a group of jack-o-lanterns on the porch. The closer you get you hear them talking to each other. You over hear one of them telling another that he is going to scare the living daylights out of you. What did he say that he was going to do? Does he scare you or not? Make sure that you use quotation marks in your post. You may need to give the jack-0-lantern a name. I also want to know what you said back to him. Happy Halloween.

Technology Night 2009
Tonight you may have had the opportunity to see different types of technology projects your child has made. You have or will get to see different types of technology that is used in our school. I would like for you to leave comments regarding your thoughts about what you have seen or hope to see. This is 21st century learning at its best.

An Awesome Day with Grandparents
On Friday, Sept. 25th the student's grandparents came to visit. They enjoyed a sack lunch out on the lawn as well as getting the opportunity to hear some songs the students had learned in music class. Grandparents were able to see technology projects the students had created on their laptops. Before leaving for the day, grandparents were treated to a powerpoint presentation that showed pictures of the students with their grandparents from earlier times. As a thank you gift, grandparents received a framed picture of their grandchild. A wonderful time was shared for all involved.

THIS IS IT!!!!
Wow!! You made it through. Today is your last day as a third grader. I have truly enjoyed spending each and every day with you. This year holds many fond memories that I will add to my memory bank that now spans 25 years. You're the 25th class that I have taught. I would like you to take some time and reflect on your year. Tell my about the good times as well as the bad. What was your most favorite thing(s) that we did this year? What was your most least favorite thing(s) that we did this year? I love you all and will miss you greatly. Have and great summer and stop by and say hi next year.

What is Wrong with the Weather?
It is suppose to be spring but the weather sure doesn't seem like it. Do you like the continued cold weather or would you rather see springlike weather? If it was warmer outside what would you be doing in your free time after school and on the weekends? Or would you like it to be cold? What would you do outside if it was still cold out?
