Spirit Week Cobra Style 2011

The week of Sept. 19-23 was spirit week at JH. The elementary students were encouraged to dress up to show their school spirit each day. Monday was PJ/Bed Head Day. Tuesday found students supporting their 50's attire. the 70's were brought back for Wednesday followed by the 80's on Thursday. Friday was the traditional Green and Gold Day. GO COBRAS!!!

Nouns, Nouns, Nouns!!

We have spent this week learning about nouns. You know that a noun is a person, place or thing. We also talked about common and proper nouns. A common noun is any ole noun. A proper noun is the exact name of something and is ALWAYS capitalized. Your first job is to write 6 nouns, 2 people, 2 places and 2 things. Next I want you to write five nouns that would be proper nouns. Good luck to you in this endeavor.
