Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!!
We have had so much snow over Christmas break. For some people this caused them to change their Christmas plans. For others, it meant they were snowed in for a few days. Did the snowstorm of 2009 cause you any hardships? Do you have any funny stories to tell? What would you say was the best thing about it? The worse thing about it was what? Our Christmas plans were changed because of the snowstorm. We planned to have Christmas Eve supper at our house with both of our families but that changed when it started to snow. I was baking the turkey when Mark said that we would need to think about heading to Holton before we couldn't get there. So we gathered all the food, presents and our clothes and put them in the truck. Once the turkey was done, I took it straight from the oven to the back on the truck and away we went. I'm sure it was a cold ride for "Tom" but he was cool once we arrived and was extremely easy to carve.
We ended up being snowed in our "Grandma's House" for two days. It was fun as we got to spend time with his brother. The worse part was that Britton didn't get to come home.
Saturday we took Doug back to the airport and stopped and bought a snowblower. We made it home safely that afternoon after a long trip. The snowblower is a great tool. I wonder why we hadn't invested in one earlier in our lives.
Later that afternoon both Kyli and Britton made it home and we had our Christmas together.
This is definitely a Christmas that we won't forget. Everyone dreams of a White Christmas but I could live without one next year.

A bad thing happened to my grandpa
He had to go throw a field and take dawn a fence. A good thing that happened is my faimly and I got a wii for Christmas.It was a very good Christmas.My faivorit preasent was a trampoline.
Once we went on a drive to the coutry and we saw a big snowdriff.
On the side of the rode we saw a big cliff.
Once we went out
to the couthery and I fell off
the cliff and my cusin cote me.
On christmas I got snowed in. We had to have christmas at our house. Had to have christmas on New year's day.
When I was going to my grandmas house my mom was thinking we were going to get stuk. So just sed that we were not going to get stuk. But my mom still was thinking the same thing.So I had y
to wate entill we got there.
Dring the snow storm we had a water pipe break and we had no water for one night. We were all sick except dad he was lucky. Dring Christmas it had snowed and drifted so much that we had to cansil the Christmas party and it made me sad because my ant Beth could not come.
On Christmas my family was traped because we couldn't get out of our drive way. A funny thing was that we could still go sleding down are road. when we would go down are road you would go very fast down it. i liked the snow because you could eat it
Our Christmas was not changed because we were not snowed in! We planned to go to grandma's house to have Christmas and we did! Everyone had to help cook breakfast!Then we got to open presents I got a lot of stuff like a new bike,and a snuggie!On Christmas day I fell in a big snow drift it was cold!When we all got home I went outside to bild a snowman!
The snow was a pain in the rear my sister got stuck my dad had to walk to do chicken chores,we were almost snowed in.My dad fell on the ice,my mom has to drive my dads truck while my dad dives our old farm truck.My sister needs a truck that is a 4x4.Hopefuly this dosn't happen again.
It was morning and mom said to get our coats on then dad said, "Why try to go to moms when it is terrible outside?"Then mom said that we were not going. We were heartbroken.Carter ran to his room and balled Ashanti cried and yelled,"Your mean!"I cried and cried.We begged and begged than mom gave up but said,"Then dad is driving." So we went to Grandma Pantle's house then we went and spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Noel's house. The next morning we went to Grandma Montgomery then we went home.My favrote part was that we were able to go and what I did not like was that we had to beg to go.
I got to play in the snow a lot!We bult snow fortssnow balls to. The snow was all most as tall as me! The dogs liked the snow toand the cats dosen't like it to much.The dogs ate ice to!
My tows were fresing if I wa out ther to long! Scrachy was fresing outside because she dosent have long fur on.
My dad keeps geting stuck in ditches wile working. The snow did not really cause us that mutch trouble. during the snow storm I buried my self in the snow.
