4-H Ambassadors Visit
During National 4-H Week, ambassadors from Jackson County paid a visit to our classroom. These young ladies shared with students reasons why you would want to join 4-H. They also brought various projects that they had completed throughout the year and showed at the county and state fair. They talked about livestock projects as well. We thank them greatly for taking the time to visit us. I know as a teacher it is very easy to pick out students who are in 4-H, they are more than willing to get in front of their class and talk. They have the confidence to do this because of their experiences from 4-H.

Optimist Visit
Members of the Holton Optimist visited our classroom on Monday to deliver dictionaries to the students. We appreciate these greatly as they assist students in their learning throughout the year. Thank you Holton Optimist Club!
